Free employees - import data to AX

With OptiGrator it is possible to import electronic data to Dynamics AX. Thereby a company can save valuable man-hours on typing jobs and reduce the number of typos to an absolute minimum. Instead the company can focus on jobs that create profit and improve service for the costumers.

Flexible system

OptiGrator can import data from all tables in Dynamics AX. Received files in for example XML, PDF or Comma are converted to an in-house XML format and imported to a journal, where they are validated using the chosen rules. If the data is ok, the journal can be booked automatically, whereas journals with data problems can be updated partially or not at all. The user responsible for the document type can subsequently handle the data manually, correct or add, and then book the journal manually as well. Thus the operation is moved to the departments in the company, where the necessary expertise is available. The IT-department is only involved, if corrupt files are involved.

Validation

The imported data is validated after rules, which the company itself has defined for each document type. A hard rule could be, to be able to identify a customer in order to generate a sales order. A soft rule could be that if a price for a vendor confirmation deviates from a purchase order, an e-mail is sent, without the import being interrupted.

File log and journalizing

All received files are saved, all processes are logged and all updates in Dynamics AX are documented in the shape of booked OptiGrator journals.
